Nyo Ukraine x Reader: The Farmer and the Singer

(Name) lived in a small town in Ukraine. Her family was quite poor until she made it big as a young singer. Her family was able to move to the city, but she had to leave her old life behind.

She never wanted to leave her friends. Especially him. Dimitri Bragisky was the older brother of your Russian friend Anya and her stalkerish younger brother Nikolai. They were like another family to her and she loved them with all her heart, but she liked Dimitri more than a friend. She knew it was wrong to love her best friend's brother, but she couldn't help it. Soft platinum blonde hair and sweet cerulean eyes that are the perfect combo of cute and cool that are to die for.

Ever since she got famous (name) has missed him. She kept the picture of him and his siblings by her side table to remind her who she is doing all of this for.

The last time she heard from them was three months ago saying that there was a very plentiful harvest and , of course, Nikolai was constantly stalking and proposing to Anya. Sigh...a normal day for the poor Russian girl.

(Name) throws herself on her (f/c) sheets on her plush mattress and sighed. Just one day she would like to tell him her true feelings. Just one chance is all she asks for.

It was a long night after one of her concerts. She was backstage taking off her stage makeup. It's not like she didn't enjoy performing, it's just the fact that she didn't have her friends with her.

Once her makeup was off, she changed into something more comfortable and headed out the door. It was a cool summer night and the stars were barely visible in the night sky. Nothing like the country side.

Her loneliness never left her. (Name) then went to her front door and noticed something was off about it. With further inspection she noticed cuts on her door and her door knob looked like it was beaten to a pulp by a shovel. Fear slowly consumed her. 'Was it a break in?' She thought to herself.

She took in a breath and went inside. She held her keys tightly in her hand and reached for the light switch.

Once the light over came the room her eyes widened. There sitting in her family room was Anya with her shovel, Nikolai, and Dimitri.

Her mouth opened wide. She pinched her cheek, thinking it was a dream, but she felt pain.

In a quick second she dashed over to them and tackled them all in a hug.

"If this is a dream I don't want to wake up!" (name) exclaimed.

Dimitri chuckled. "You aren't dreaming, (name). We really are here."

Tears were welling up in her eyes and she was hugged tightly by Anya. "I missed you so much, da! Home is not the same without you (name)!"

"Yeah." she replied. "I missed you guys so much. Even you Nikolai." she turned to him and he just grunts.

"I only came because big sister is here."

(Name) pats his shoulder. "Give her a break will ya."

Then she turned to Dimitri and hugged him the longest. She tool in his scent and the warmth around her. She really did miss him.

She pulled away and looked at all three of them. "So what are you guys doing here? Aren't you all busy?"

Anya grinned, "Well...Dimitri made enough money for us to visit you. In your letters it seemed like you needed some friendly company."

(Name) smiled. "I'm glad you're all here. I was getting quite lonely so this is perfect timing. How long are you staying?"

"Two weeks." Nikolai grunted.

She almost died inside. They will be staying in her town for two weeks. It will finally be her chance to confess to Dimitri. Could this get any better?

She asked them, "So where are you planning on staying?"

Dimitri grinned, "I wanted to save some of the money I made so I thought about us staying here with you."

A blush crept up on (name)'s cheek. They were staying in her house. Good thing she had spare bedrooms and an extra bathroom.
(Name) grinned. "It would be great if you stay here! I have some extra rooms for you guys to stay in." she smiles at Anya. "And me and my girlfriend are bunking in the same room."

Anya squealed and hugged her, "Thank you (name)!" She could hear Nikolai groan the fact that he won't became one with Anya.

After the back braking hug from Anya(name) showed the three where they will be staying and the bathroom. This day is finally turning around for her.


****TIME SKIP****

Before (name) realized it, tomorrow would be their last day and she hadn't confessed to Dimitri yet! She was having so much fun shopping and hanging out with Anya, eating out with them and for them to see a concert or two. Time really does fly when your having fun.

She hit her face with her pillow and sighed. She needed to confess today or she won't get another chance because they will be busy packing tomorrow.

(name) popped out of her bed and stretched. The best way to get things done is to ask the person who is closest to him. Anya.

Since they share a room, Anya slept in her room so that a) Nikolai wouldn't get to her and b) so if girl talks were needed they already have a room for it.

(Name) went over to the sleeping Anya and poked her forehead. She shifted, but did not wake up. (Name) poked her again, this time harder. She ended up having her face meet shovel at point blank range.

"Holy Roman Empire that hurts!" (name) moaned out, holding her nose.

Instantly, Anya's eyes snapped opened and saw what she did. "I'm so sorry! I thought you were Nikolai da..." tears were brimming her eyes because she hurt her best friend.

"No need to worry, Anya." (Name) said holding her gushing nose. "I would do the same if I was you."

Anya sniffled and held her shovel close. "I'm really sorry da..."

(Name) pat her shoulder. "It's fine!" She wiped the blood off of her. "Anyways I need your help Anya."

"What is it da?"

(Name) gripped Anya's shoulders tightly. "I need your help on confessing to your brother Dimitri."

Anya was confused then smiled wide. " I can help you with that, da."


*****TIMESKIP*****

After hours of practice, (Name) finally was able to build up enough courage to confess to Dimitri. It took a trip to the mall and five cups of tea to finally calm her down. Dimitri is very understanding, but she was still scared.

Her first plan was to confess at dinner but Nikolai screwed things up bad so you had to do it after dinner. Great, she had to wait longer to get this off of her chest.

Bless Anya's soul because she sacrificed herself to get (Name) and Dimitri some alone time. Poor girl. Hope she survives.

She cleaned up the dishes with Dimitri and asked if he could come outside for a bit. It was finally her time. Once they were both outside, (Name) was trying to calm her beating heart.

Dimitri looked at her, "So, what did you need to talk to me about, (Name)."

She looked at him and took a large breath. "Dimitri, I loved you ever since we were kids! I have always loved you and no one else! I-I-"

Then she got her answer. Dimitri kissed her on the lips. The sweetest kiss she ever had, well it was her first kiss after all. He was not forceful or trying to get his tongue in her cavern. Just sweet and nice, just like him.

He pulls away and his face was as red as (Name)'s. He smiles and says, "Ja tebe kochaju."

She miles back. "I love you too."

(Name) and Dimitri have been dating quite a while after that confession. He ended up staying in the city with her and they lived peacefully together.

Today was another one of her concerts and she was doing one of her absolute favorite Japanese songs; Romeo and Cinderella. It doesn't really apply to her anymore, she had her Romeo or well Dimitri after all.

Little did she know that while she was singing a key part in the song, Dimitri came on stage. His face was flushed because now the spotlight was on him. She glanced over at him and smiled while singing.

He hears his signal and got infront of her and got on one knee. (Name) couldn't believe her eyes when a ring was nestled in a small box, waiting for her to say yes.
